Yesterday we mentioned Google Video Downloader, a web app dedicated to extracting the URL of the embedded video in Google Video. While it's certainly nice to have an entire website dedicated to extracting embedded links from Google Video, there's a lot more embedded media out there, and you don't always have time to hunt through lines of code.
Enter Firefox extension, Download Embedded:
Download Embedded does exactly what it sounds like. It adds a right-click context menu entry to download all embedded files on a webpage. Its great for grabbing embedded flash animations, movies, music, etc., and a lot easier than digging through the page source or through Firefox's Page Info.
Download Embedded is a simple solution and great time saver when you want to save an embedded video or other embedded media from (almost) any webpage to your hard drive. Incidentally, Download Embedded doesn't work for Google Video.
